Ms. Lekkas has substantial experience litigating a variety of matters in both the State and Federal Courts. Her practice is focused on representing public entities and employees in areas of employment law, civil rights, and public entity law under various statutes such as the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, the Conscientious Employee Protection Act, and constitutional claims brought under the New Jersey Civil Rights Act and 42 U.S.C. Section 1983.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Lekkas utilized her finance degree to achieve success while working in product development for the corporate offices of Federated Merchandising Group and subsequently as a retail planner for Harmon Discount, a subsidiary of Bed, Bath and Beyond.

Following law school, Ms. Lekkas had the opportunity to serve as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Andrea G. Carter of the New Jersey Superior Court in Middlesex County and thereafter, worked as an attorney for a prominent Central New Jersey insurance defense firm where her practice was concentrated in employment law and civil rights defense.
